About the Film
8500 kilometres, over 50 interviews, 14 cities, 9 provinces, 6 weeks. Watch as three lively millennials travel across Canada navigating a geographic canvas of consumption and inequity, kindness and generosity and, most of all, a drive for change. First time filmmakers and twin sisters Meaghan and Marie Wright along with social activist Joseph Huyer document this change, capturing the stories of passionate citizens using business as a tool for good.
The Social Shift, a film by Common Good Solutions directed by Mirror Image Media, highlights businesses that are adding economic and social value to world; businesses that focus not only on the “bottom line” but build communities, protect the environment, support local and employ people of all abilities.
Hilarious, informative and heartfelt, this is a journey that will leave you inspired and ready to make the world a more inclusive and sustainable place for all.
