Mission

Under The Surface is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing a Scubapeutics™ diving program as a new and innovative approach to health and well-being, especially for those with physical and mental injuries.

Scuba diving has proven to have many positive rehabilitative effects on mental health, physical fitness and improved relationships.

We offer Scubapeutics™ for those with mental and physical injuries including PTSD, chronic pain, paraplegia, amputees, MS, depression, anxiety and many more.

Products & Services:

1-hour introduction to scuba diving - provides a theory lesson and confined water skills practice in a pool
Scubapeutic ™ Sessions (SS) - which include 1-2 hours of rehabilitative exercises, scuba skills and drills as well as team building activities
Open water diver certification - PADI and Handicapped Scuba Association courses
Flotilla SIT Sessions - listen, share and learn more about whole health and scuba diving
