Mission

Hopewell’s mission is to support individuals struggling with an eating disorder as well as their families and friends. Hopewell offers seasonal programming including support groups and art therapy programs to those affected by eating disorders and disordered eating. We also offer mentoring programs, workshops and panels run throughout the year.

Our aim to create inclusive spaces for those of all religions, gender, bodies, and ethnicities to have access to our services.

We believe that everyone should have access to compassionate support and resources when dealing with mental health issues.

Products & Services:

Support Programs - Peer, family and friend support groups for those touched by eating disorders and disordered eating. Available to those 17+.
Art Therapy Program: Helps those who are in recovery for eating disorders to use art as a recovery outlet. Available to those 17+.
Mentoring Program: The Bridging the Gap mentoring program aims to help support individuals who are 18 years old and older, who are transitioning from eating disorder treatment back into their daily lives or who are looking for extra support through their recovery process.
Community Outreach: Offering different presentations to schools (elementary, secondary, and post-secondary), youth organizations, support and frontline staff groups, and parents.
Hopewell Design: A small store full of items created by local crafters with all proceeds going to our programming.
