Mission
Big Sisters Big Brothers Ottawa (BBBSO) supports and enables youth facing adversity to achieve their full potential by providing opportunities for them to form positive relationships with adult volunteers through a variety of one-to-one mentoring programs. Thrive Select Thrift doubles as a retail outlet and community hub to support BBBSO’s mission.
Thrive will provide opportunities for our mentees ages 15 to 24 to develop a range of important life skills, gain real work experience, build their confidence and begin thinking about their educational and career plans, and help grow existing BBBSO mentoring programs through a sustainable stream of revenue.
