Empowering the Next Generation of Ottawa Youth

Building on the success of CSED’s Social Enterprise Bootcamp, we are excited to launch our new Youth Social Entrepreneurship Program, made possible through the generous support of the City of Ottawa. This three-year initiative is designed to empower youth from diverse and equity-deserving communities with the skills, confidence, and support they need to transform their ideas into meaningful, real-world social impact ventures.

The program will be delivered in three connected phases: Inspiration and Ideation, Incubation, and Mentorship and Coaching. Participants will begin by exploring social entrepreneurship through Seed for Change workshops and Impact Hackathons, where they can test ideas, build skills, and connect with peers. From there, youth will advance into an intensive 8-week, hands-on bootcamp, supported by ongoing mentorship to help them develop and launch sustainable, youth-led ventures.

CSED is fortunate to have the support and participation of the Odawa Native Friendship Centre, Somali Centre for Family Services, and Youth Ottawa. We invite other youth-serving organizations across Ottawa to partner with us in bringing this program to life—by promoting the opportunity, referring youth participants, co-hosting workshops, or collaborating in other ways to expand opportunities for young social entrepreneurs. Together, we can inspire and support the next generation of changemakers.

More details will be shared soon on our website. For partnership inquiries or additional information, please contact Hai at hai@csedottawa.ca.
