ABOUT
Unleashed 2019, powered by the Centre for Social Enterprise Development, is a half-day conference featuring networking opportunities, panel discussions and breakouts designed to bring innovators, motivators, doers and disruptors together to learn and share their insights, nurture ideas and help formulate strategies around Ottawa’s growing social enterprise landscape.
The theme this year is balancing strategy and operations for growth and impact. To be successful, social enterprises must meet customer expectations and drive operational performance in the short term while ensuring that their organization remains relevant over the long term. Hear from social enterprise practitioners and other ecosystem players on what they’re doing to find this balance and the advice they have for others.
WHO WILL BE ATTENDING
- Veteran and emerging social entrepreneurs looking to expand their impact through strategic growth
- Representatives from charities and not-for-profit organizations exploring the start-up of a social enterprise
- Funders and agencies who support the capacity building activities of the sector
- Public and private sector delegates interested in engaging with the social enterprise sector
- Other agencies/stakeholders who want to join and support Ottawa’s rich social enterprise ecosystem.
Expect to be inspired while exploring the balance between strategy and operations.
