Organization Description
CompuCorps is a high-tech charity that seeks to benefit Canadian society by providing at risk groups (Aboriginal, youth, seniors and those living with disability) career and life skills training focused on access to technology (computers) and the internet. CompuCorps cares because we want to fight the growing digital divide gap in our communities.
Products & Services:
- TechReuse - Providing affordable, licensed, and guaranteed computer systems to charities, non-profits, and underprivileged people. The program also works diligently to help protect the environment by enforcing a ZERO LANDFILL POLICY.
- TechYouth - gives at-risk youth, primarily from Aboriginal and Newcomer communities, practical work experience in an eight-week session led by CompuCorps staff, IT volunteer professional mentors, and community volunteers.
- TechMentor - provides professional advice and services to Ontario’s non-profit sector.
