Summer Job Opportunity for Youth

CSED is seeking a curious, organized, and community-minded young person to join us as a Program Delivery Officer this summer. 

  • 16 weeks (May 5 – Aug 22, 2025)
  • full-time contract (35 hrs/week)
  • Wage: $20.50 /hour
  • Language: English
  • Location: 20% in-office; 80% remote

About CSED

CSED is a connector and capacity builder which champions social enterprise activity as a way to build stronger, more caring and more sustainable communities. We help charities, nonprofits and social entrepreneurs realize their social enterprise ambitions and work with companies and organizations who want to build social value into their supply chains.

About the Position

Working within a collaborative and supportive team, the Program Delivery Officer will be responsible for activities that support the effective development and delivery of CSED’s programs and services. Activities are varied and will include:

  • conducting market research and analysis
  • helping to plan and organize training workshops and events
  • supporting the maintenance and expansion of CSED’s social enterprise directory, and
  • contributing to the development of processes, tools and materials.

  • ability to speak in French, while not required, is an asset.

Eligibility Requirements

The position is made possible with funding support from the Government of Canada. Applicants must be eligible under the funding criteria of the Canada Summer Jobs program including:

  • be between 15 and 30 years of age at start of employment
  • be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person who has been granted refugee status in Canada under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, and
  • have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada according to relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.

International students are not eligible.
