Calling all nonprofits! 

ALL nonprofits in Ottawa, including charities, grassroots groups, volunteer-run organizations, social enterprises, and co-operatives who serve the Ottawa area, in whole or part, are invited to participate in the 2026 Ottawa Social Enterprise Needs & Opportunities Survey.

This survey is designed to capture the current state of social enterprise activity in the local nonprofit and charitable sector, including how these approaches are (or are not) being used, what barriers organizations face, and where additional support is needed.

The survey is open to organizations at all levels of experience with social enterprise. Whether you’re running a social enterprise, planning one for the future, or have never considered it, your input will help build a clearer picture of the degree to which social enterprise is being used across the sector and where support is needed most.

By participating, you will help:

• Identify key barriers and opportunities facing organizations
• Inform future advocacy, programs, funding and support
• Ensure the realities and priorities of organizations like yours are understood.

The deadline to respond is April 30, 2026.

All completed survey submissions will be entered into a prize draw to win a $500 voucher for CSED coaching services; a $100 gift card from a social enterprise of your choice; and a ticket to the Unleashed 2027 annual conference.
