What is the SE Start-Up Lab?
CSED’s SE Start-Up Lab is a pre-accelerator program to help you define, design and launch your social enterprise. It is a 6 session cohort-based program including in-person sessions, access to market intelligence, guidance with impact measurement, business model development, product/service and customer validation, establishing awareness and mastering your powerful pitch, with the intention to guide you through your successful startup journey.
You’ve taken the first steps now it’s implementation time!
Who is the program for?
The program is ideal for people or organizations who are in the early stages and need support to turn their idea into a social enterprise.
You want to start a purpose-driven business but don’t know where to start. Whether you’re at the ideation stage or already in the early stages of starting this program is for you.
Charities & Not-For Profits:
Your charity or not-for-profit is looking for alternative methods for generating revenue or perhaps you want to add an additional social enterprise to your existing portfolio. CSED’s SE Start-Up Lab will point you in the right direction and provide you with the knowledge and skills required to start your journey.
**Space is limited to 20 organizations. One or two participants per organization are invited to attend. Each participant must commit to attending all sessions.

Opportunity to apply to Uncapped
Funding to grow your social enterprise in the form of grants, loans and hybrid grant/loans.
Interested participants are asked to submit an online application. Applicants will be invited to an in-person interview with the objective of learning more about your idea, its social impact and the business stage of the social enterprise.
